A bullet-ridden body is unearthed from a buried WW2 plane - but the body isn't from WW2. Dr Ruth Galloway, forensic archaeologist, must discover who the victim was, and who put him there.'An almost gothic plot, involving family feuds and a crumbling stately home . . . one of the most vivid novels in a delightful series' Sunday TimesWhen DCI Harry Nelson calls Ruth Galloway in to investigate a body found inside a buried fighter plane, she quickly realizes that the skeleton couldn't possibly be the pilot. DNA tests identify the man as Fred Blackstock, a local aristocrat who had been reported dead at sea. Events are further complicated by a TV company that wants to make a film about Norfolk's deserted air force bases, the so-called Ghost Fields, which have been partially converted into a pig farm run by one of the younger remaining Blackstocks. Then human bones are found on the farm and, as the greatest storm Norfolk has seen for decades brews in the distance, another Blackstock is attacked. Can the team outrace the rising flood to find the killer?

Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence

Innocence is the 2004 sequel to the anime film Ghost in the Shell. Released in Japan on March 6, 2004, with a U.S. release on September 17, 2004, Innocence had a production budget of approximately $20 million (approx. 2 billion yen). To raise such a large amount of money, Production I.G's president Mitsuhisa Ishikawa asked Studio Ghibli's president Toshio Suzuki to work on the project with him as a co-producer. The film is written and directed by Mamoru Oshii, with a story loosely connected to the manga by Shirow Masamune. The movie was produced by Production I.G, which also produced the original movie and the spinoff TV series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. In order to better market the film outside of Japan, the Ghost in the Shell 2 moniker was added to the title of the film, with Innocence simply becoming the subtitle. This was seen by some fans as conflicting with Oshii's statements that the film wasn't in actuality a standard Hollywood-esque sequel, and was able to and intended to stand alone. Alongside the film, there was a book published that served as a prequel to Innocence called Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence: After the Long Goodbye.

After his triumph over a ghost collector and a doctor who does no good, Tom Golden thinks life is finally...well, golden. Grey Arthur and his ghostly crew have happily settled into their roles as Invisible Friends while Tom has made a new human friend with Pick-Nose Pete. But when one friendly ghost is overly enthusiastic about his duties, the TV show Exceedingly Haunted Homes of England is called in to investigate. A hysterical fear of ghosts takes over the school, and the Invisible Friends are glad that they witness the chaos unheard and unseen. Too bad that the same cannot be said for the ghosts in the world beyond. The disappearance of the Crown Jewels in a rather Poltergeist-like manner is trouble enough, but a frightening specter caught on film and a knight seen charging through streets and pedestrians spell trouble. Restoration of the peace between the ghostly and human realms may be too much for one boy to handle, but Tom hopes that the help of Grey Arthur and the Invisible Friends may be just what he needs to track down the cause of this supernatural chaos. In this third installment to the Golden & Grey series, Louise Arnold takes the reader on an exciting adventure full of Laundry Runs, ancient castles, and the ever dark and dangerous woods.

Book 6 Hans Holzer Paranormal Investigator or Ghost Hunter, Hans Holzer in the end, he has to be looked upon as perhaps the man most responsible for making this field of endeavor mainstream. Hans Holzer used television and mass media to promote the profession of the paranormal investigator in a way that had not been considered before him and without his influence, the ghost hunter television shows of today would not exist. Book 7 The Werewolf and Demon Trial an Ed and Lorraine Warren File The legendary investigations of Ed and Lorraine Warren continue with the werewolf investigation of Bill Ramsey. Also their investigation of Arne Cheyenne Johnson,.a man who committed murder and who tried to use demon possession as his defense. His murder trial became known as the Demon Murder trial. These files are two of their most fascinating cases investigated by the famous paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Is the werewolf legend actually based upon demonic possession? Book 8 Harry Houdini And Sir Authur Conan Doyle Harry Houdini and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are world famous. The thing not well reported about them was that they were well early leaders in the field of Paranormal investigation. Houdini had a desperate need to know whether there was life after death, while the same burning curiosity that fueled his most famous fictional creation Sherlock Holmes Sir Authur Conan Doyle wanted to know if there was more to the nature of existence than met the eye. Book 9 Montague Summers Montague Summers was a priest, a writer and one of the world's most interesting paranormal Investigators. This remarkable little man was the true believer. Montague Summers believed in the power of witchcraft, in actual Vampires, Demons, and Werewolves. His first claim to fame is a translation of the manual on how to hunt, question and exterminate witches, the book known as the Malleus Maleficarum. He later wrote on the subject of Vampires and Werewolves. His writings are not those of a skeptic, but of a true believer in the topics. Famous for the saying Tell Me Something Strange, Montague Summers was perhaps the perfect paranormal investigator. With the skills of a scholar and a priest while maintaining the open-mindedness of a child he was one of a kind. Book 10 Sir William Crookes and Frederick Bligh Bond Jason Conrad Hawes and Grant Steven Wilson Paranormal Pioneers and the Modern Investigator. William Crookes was one of the world's greatest and most famous scientist when he decided to become a paranormal investigator. Frederick Bligh Bond is one of history's most underrated paranormal investigators. Jason Conrad Hawes and his partner Grant Steven Wilson are perhaps more responsible than any other men for the massive growth that we have seen in the field of paranormal investigations. Thanks to their super popular TV series Ghost Hunters many of you first learned about paranormal investigations.
